4th MICRO μ FESTIVAL 2014
The audience voted against tolerance
The 4th Micro μ Festival was successfully completed last Sunday. The response was great in the seven cities that hosted the event, despite the adverse weather conditions in some of them. The audience in Athens, Thessaloniki, Chania, Ptolemaida, Rhodes, Corfu and Paris, after the three –hour presentation of the 15 films, voted "Free Will" by Antonis Sotiropoulos as the beloved film of this year.
"Free Will" discusses the major changes that the economic crisis caused in everyday life, with electronic trading being the most important. The film highlights the implications of this new reality, comparing the dramatic impact of people’s tolerance with "Mister Anthony" by Manos Hatzidakis.
The festival ended up with the award of the last year's winner, Natasha Xidi, and the award check of € 1,500 from the «RGB Studios» for the next production. In the end of the evening the organizer, Simos Kyparissopoulos, renewed the appointment for the next year by announcing some changes in the festival structure that deserve attention.
