A Film Festival «live» in nine cities
Voting on October
The International Micro μ Festival sets its appointment with the audience for the 12th time. From October 13th to 16th, your favorite film festival will take place simultaneously to Athens, Thessaloniki, Rhodes, Heraclion, Xanthi, Veroia, Ptolemaida, Copenhagen and Paris.
The main section of IMμF 2022, the “live” Greek Competition Section, will take place on Saturday October 15th simultaneously at 9 Greek cities and abroad, inviting the audience to watch 15 short films and vote for their favorite.
The rest of the days, the audience in some of the cities of our network will have the chance to watch and vote for the second time their favorite Student short film at the Student Section of Microμ and of course the European short films with Greek premieres in the International Section of the festival

SYNOPSIS
Fotis returns to a deserted village in the Greek mountains for his father's will announcement. Collides with the villagers, local environment and his own routes till he finds out that he is closer to his father than he ever thought he was.

SYNOPSIS
Εlias, a freshman in Athens, has come from his village to study. Alone in the big city, he works as a brochure distributor to cover his expenses. On the tedious journey of work he meets Anna, a girl who works in a bookstore, and then, a strange old woman who introduces him to a strange world of theatrical memories. SYNOPSIS
“The incredible Lien Mourlen” is a seven-minute CG-animated film, about how cosmic forces can influence the reality. Accidental or fatal chain reactions, that we do not know, can change everything for the better. A peaceful and kind lady Lien Mourlen receives a coveted letter and heads to the dock. When a sudden storm prevents the ships from arriving, Mourlen lets the letter picked up by the wind, until it travels in the sky. But, when the moon wakes up, everything will change.

SYNOPSIS
Angelos’ anger and compulsionto validate his beliefs, lead to the loss of his friends in a series of phone calls. The spark is apunctured tire, which he attributes to an organized profit maximization scheme of the local repair shop. Triggered by this incident, he unfolds his views on the phone to his friends about various conspiracies that he believes in and which plague the world, bringing him into conflict with the rational views of his friends. From the solidarity fund that Greece has allegedly accumulated to the chemtrails conspiracy, and from the existence of the Reptilians and the Hollow Earth theoryto the visits of extraterrestrial civilizations on Mount Penteli,Angelos also reveals his pagan devotion to the Dodecatheon and his devoutness to the supremacy of the Hellene as a god-sent species bySirius. Everybody believes that he's irrational which is quite true. But, are all he thinks totally irrational?

SYNOPSIS
A short video essay that explores the beginning of a new life, as the narrator wonders whom this little baby will become. In one sentence this video is about being hopeful and optimistic. It's about the faith that a new life has a lot of potential and with nurture and love can evolve to a beautiful life, rich in experiences, people and journeys.

SYNOPSIS
Lexi has glossed over life without deep commitments or attachments. She joins the online dating world as a fun and easy way to meet people and spend her few nights in town. But what appears to be an exciting journey, soon becomes a draining loop. "Nexting" explores human connection, relationships, timing or rather the lack of the above as well as the question of how present we can actually be when we are constantly thinking about what better is hiding around the corner.

The filmmaker of the winner film will be awarded with 1.000 € offered by the Greek Film Centre αnd free rental rights for for equipment and post production services, worth 1.000 € from RGB studios for his/her next production.
